Passion is proud to be based in the city of Benin. It is a fantastic place to live and work with an excellent pool of young talent that has helped us to grow and prosper.
We believe it's our duty to reinvest in our community and, in particular, the next generation of young people.
With that in mind we’re keen to play our part in the local and regional community, contributing positively and actively wherever we can.
We’re proud of the positive impact we have as a significant employer and also in the way we help other local businesses flourish and develop, thanks to our web development and design projects.
Passion also actively supports many community initiatives and causes as a company - and many of our employees are involved, either in an individual capacity or with help from work colleagues, in charity fundraising projects.
We formally support the work of LAS Girls Clubs by delivering and maintaining its website as well as offering support with design and print of promotional and information materials.
Passion Web Solution has also provided a website for young people to apply for funding from the George Fox School Educational Charity which gives financial assistance to support people under 25 through education.
We are also the main shirt sponsor for local football team, FC Britannia – who made us very proud during the 2014/15 season by winning the North Lancashire and District League cup!
Passion Web Solution also has a designated work experience scheme and works with Eghosa Grammer School in Benin City, Edo State to provide a valuable, informative and exciting work placement experience for local young people. We believe in our young talent and we are delighted to have many home grown experts here at Passion Web SOlution.
Passion Web Solution have pledged £5,000 over the next five years to the unique Dream 4 Life Foundation, Nigeria, which will fund and expand a medical out reach Program in the North-eastern part of the country in IDP camps for women and children displaced by the dreaded bokoharam terrorist sect that has seen over 20 thousand Nigerians killed and over 20 million displaced.
Social services are severely disrupted, with 40 per cent of health facilities and 1,200 schools damaged or destroyed due to the conflict. Similarly, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) has become a growing concern, with an estimated 3.9 million people needing assistance. Three million children have lost access to learning, more than 2.7 million conflict-affected children need psychosocial support, 20,000 children are unaccompanied and separated and 8,000 children are associated with armed forces and groups. Failure to reintegrate and separation from families is increasing children’s risk of abuse and exploitation. The population of displaced persons has since been on the increase and posses severe health challenges to the refugees who come in large numbers to seek shelter and refuge after been forced to flee their homes following intense fighting between Government forces and the terrorist group.
Precious Osasumwen, Passion Web Solution CEO explains why he chose to support the foundation through Passion Web Solution: "Due to the ongoing conflict in the north-east, the humanitarian crisis in Nigeria has significantly increased in scale. The situation on ground is alarming and Humanitarian workers are overwhelmed by the crisis. In the three most directly affected states of Borno, Adamawa and Yobe, 8.5 million people require humanitarian assistance, including 1.68 million internally displaced persons, more than half of whom are children. We want to support something different and we feel this is the right project.”
